Münster: For the first time the Westfälisches Pferdestammbuch e.V. organised an online auction especially for pony foals. A highly interesting collection of foals from the best dam lines was for sale on Monday evening. Ava Gold aroused the highest desires. On average the international clientele invested 4,385 Euros for the 13 riding pony foals sold.

As usual, the bid-up for the online auction started on Monday evening at the Westfälisches Pferdestammbuch e.V. For the first time the lot only contained pony and special breed foals. Especially popular was Ava Gold KE by A new Star I NRW/Cosmopolitan D NRW (breeder and exhibitor: Elke Kühn, Rietberg). She changed owners for 10,500 Euros. The mare is a daughter of the Vice Bundeschampionesse St.Pr.St. Caramba KE. The most popular Haflinger foal was Nachtregentin by Nachtregent/Barolo (bred and shown in ZG Schöer, warrior). She changed into new ownership for 3,250 Euros.

For the first time Icelandic foals were offered for sale at a Westphalian auction. Unfortunately, this did not yet bring the desired success. "Nevertheless, we would like to thank the breeders for their trust. We are pleased that they have participated in this pilot project. For the next attempt, we now know which adjustments we still have to make", summarizes auction and marketing manager Thomas Münch

Further online auctions for riding horse foals are on the schedule of the Westfälisches Pferdestammbuch e.V. Foals predisposiotioned for dressage and jumping will be on offer again on September 7 and 14.
